Luís Guilherme Trindade enrolled the Integrated MSc course in Aeronautical Engineering at University of Beira Interior (UBI) in 2011. Thenceforth, he has acquired knowledge in diverse areas like programming language (C programming, Ti-Basic, MATLAB, Wolfram Mathematica and LaTeX), aircraft propulsion, aerospace structures and materials, avionics and aerodynamics. He is now developing his Master Thesis, where he is applying Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to obtain data for the modelling and simulation of an air vehicle. His involvement with Flight Simulation is followed by his passion for Aeronautics, being a member and virtual pilot of TAP Virtual for several years.

Luís has participated in several extracurricular courses. He was part of the Flight Safety course held at the Portuguese Air Force (FAP) and the Pedagogical Aptitude Training Course held by the IEFP in 2016. He was also enrolled in different software based courses (CATIA V5, MATLAB and LaTeX) and between 2014 and 2015, he realized the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). In January 2016, along with Laura Martins, he attended the short course on Modelling and Simulation of Air Vehicles at Cranfield University, UK.

As student of Aeronautical Engineering, Luís has also represented UBI, the Aeronautical Engineering Student’s Core of University of Beira Interior (AEROUBI) and NIT on the main education and training event of Portugal – Futurália as a volunteer in 2016.

Luís Guilherme Trindade iniciou o seu percurso académico em 2011, sendo agora finalista do Ciclo de Estudos Integrado em Engenharia Aeronáutica pela Universidade da Beira Interior. Desde então, adquiriu conhecimentos em áreas tão diversas como a informática (programação em C, Ti-Basic, MATLAB, Wolfram Mathematica e LaTeX), propulsão de aeronaves, estruturas aeroespaciais, aviónicos, aerodinâmica e materiais aeroespaciais. No âmbito da sua Dissertação de Mestrado, aplica directamente a Dinâmica de Fluidos Computacional (CFD), estando a obter dados para a modelação e simulação de uma aeronave. O seu envolvimento com a Simulação Aérea segue-se pela sua paixão pela Aeronáutica, sendo membro e piloto virtual há vários anos da TAP Virtual.

O Luís participou em vários cursos extracurriculares ao longo do seu percurso académico. Ele fez parte do curso de Segurança de Voo realizado na Força Aérea Portuguesa (FAP) em 2016, a formação Pedagógica Inicial de Formadores do IEFP em 2016, formação profissional em CATIA V5 em 2016, formação em MATLAB em 2015 e LaTeX em 2014.
Entre 2014 e 2015 dedicou-se às redes informáticas, tendo realizado o Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). Em Janeiro de 2016, juntamente com a Laura Martins, frequentou o curso de Modelação e Simulação de Veículos Aéreos na Universidade de Cranfield, UK.

Como aluno de Engenharia Aeronáutica, o Luís representou ainda a UBI, o Núcleo de Estudantes de Engenharia Aeronáutica da Universidade da Beira Interior (AEROUBI) e o NIT, na Futurália – Oferta Educativa, Formação e Empregabilidade, como voluntário em 2016.
